Ingredients:
Ground nuts - 50 grms (4 tbsp) Dry red chillies - 8-10 Coconut powder - 2 tbsp Sesame seeds - 1 tbsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp Garlic cloves - 5-6 Salt - as per taste Channa dal - 2 tbsp Urad dal - 2 tbsp Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp Oil - 4 tbsp Method: Step 1: Take a fry pan and heat. Step 2: Add 3 tbsp of oil and heat. Step 3: Add Ground Nuts, Channa Dal, Urad Dal, Dry Red Chillies, Coriander Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Garlic Cloves, Sesame Seeds and fry *EACH for 1-2 minutes*. Step 4: Take out and let it cool. Step 5: Add the mixture in a blender and blend medium smooth. DON'T Blend very smoothly. Step 6: That's It !! Tasty Tasty Groundnut Powder (Pallila Podi) is ready. It goes well with Rice and Ghee. You can also use it in tiffins. Recipe 2 - Chutney: Step 1: Take the required quantity into jar and add little water. Blend smoothly. Step 2: Take a small pan and Heat. Step 3: Add Mustard seeds, once they splatter add Cumin Seeds, Curry Leaves and Dry chilly and turn-off the heat. Step 4: Let it cool for few mins and add to the blended chutney. That's it. Tasty chutney is ready.
